Mr. Parra has been teaching at Ramona for 19 years where he teaches 7th and 8th grade P.E. In addition to teaching, he coaches various sports at Ramona including: 7th Grade Girls Basketball, 7th Grade Boys Flag Football, and Track and Field. Mr. Parra graduated from Los Altos High School where he played Varsity Football and lettered in Wrestling. Following high school, he attended Mt. Sac College and University of La Verne where he played Football all 4 years. Mr. Parra and his wife Angela have two sons, Zack and Cole.

Ms. Courey Ms. Courey is entering her 18th year teaching where she has spilt her time between Ramona (16 Years) and Hesperia High School (2 Years). At Ramona, Ms. Courey currently teaches 6th and 7th grade P.E. but has also taught 8th grade in the past. Ms. Courey graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona where she played Varsity Softball and also ran Track. Following high school, she graduated from Cal State Fullerton and completed her graduate degree and teaching credential from Chapman University. Ms. Courey has two daughters and also has 4 dogs and 2 cats.

Ms. Berkler Ms. Berkler has been teaching at Ramona for 26 years! During her time here she has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade P.E. including specialized classes such as Modified P.E. and Viking Fitness. She has received a variety of awards including: The 1995 Education Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award, PTA Honorary Service Award, and was a member of the P.E. department’s 1998 Physical Education and Health Education Exemplary School Award. Ms. Berkler graduated from Nevada Union High School where she was an All-American in Swimming and received her B.S./M.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
