Ms. Acedo is in her 4th year teaching Physical Education and her first year at Ramona Middle School. Ms. Acedo decided teaching P.E. was the career path she wanted to take as she has always enjoyed being active and playing sports. In high school she played basketball, ran Cross Country and competed in Track and Field (400m, 200m, 4x100m, 4x400m). Her athletic career continued at Citrus College and Cal Poly Pomona where she studied Physical Education and Kinesiology.
Outside of school and sports, Ms. Acedo enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two furry children Sparky and Jake. Sparky (Corgi, 10) loves to go on walks, be cuddled and watch you eat in hopes you will drop a piece. Jake (German Shepard, 6) likes to jump on your lap, play fetch all day until she tears the toy into a hundred pieces. When she’s not playing with her dogs, Ms. Acedo enjoys trying new places to eat, visiting museums, going on hikes, using her theme park passes, doing kickboxing 3 times a week and traveling.
